About Trobac IT

In one sentence

Trobac IT SpA is a Chilean technology company based in Santiago that builds TroYard, the operating system for physical operations. TroYard monitors and orchestrates trucks, docks, forklifts, machinery and operators in distribution centres and plants, so the operation stops losing time and avoids truck detention charges.

The problem we solve

Many distribution centres and production plants run without knowing, in real time, where their assets are or what state they are in. The endpoints get recorded, the gate and the end of the shift, but what happens in between is never written down, and afterwards nobody can reconstruct precisely what happened.

The warehouse has its system and the routes have theirs, but the yard in between belongs to no system and still runs on two-way radios and spreadsheets. That is where the minutes go that end up as queues, blocked docks and truck detention charges.

What we build

TroYard is Trobac IT's platform. We install AI cameras and a range of sensors on the assets that take part in the process and record every event in real time: when a truck enters, how long it waits, which dock it uses, which forklift works it and when it leaves.

The result is a physical operation that is precise and traceable: what is happening right now, and an auditable record, event by event, of what already happened. On top of that record we are building the AI orchestration layer, which prioritises and assigns docks, forklifts and trucks with a person in charge of every decision.

How we work

1. We bring our own hardware. We select, integrate and operate the sensing kit ourselves, which lets us instrument assets that carry no factory telemetry.
2. We do not touch your systems or your network. TroYard runs alongside your WMS, your TMS and your dock scheduling, without replacing them.
3. Days, not months. Bringing a site online takes days.
4. A service, not a project. TroYard is contracted as a monthly service per site, with the hardware included.
5. We measure the asset and the workstation, never the identity of a person. Our architecture runs no facial recognition and does not identify individuals, and decisions about people are made by people.

Team

The founding team is three engineers with a background in Chile's national aerospace sector, trained in critical environments where a mistake is not corrected afterwards. That is the standard we build Trobac IT to.
